The Secrets of Tradition

The Kalamkari is a 2000-year old art form that has come down several generations, and is one of Latha Puttanna’s favorite fabrics. In this creation, she has used it to adorn the border of a mauve chiffon saree. Its blouse flaunts a 3-colored front and an exquisite Kalamkari-sequenced back, to accentuate the overall look it lends to the typically beautiful Indian woman.
